The Local Government Division of the State Government Finance and Elections Committee will hold the first hearing on a statewide Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) bill. The bill, HF 89 -- sponsored by a broad and diverse coalition of Metropolitan and Greater Minnesota legislators -- implements RCV in elections for state and federal offices and allows local jurisdictions to adopt RCV if they wish.

This is an exciting first step to bring RCV statewide to Minnesota!
